    You forgot to say RAM effect and RAM compresabilty and this is most significant for RAM action during it's flight the above M1.5 to M 3. After M =3, It RAM effects will be considerably high and cause Compression due to RAM. For further information please visit the operation log of PW-J58 turboRam Jet which powered the SR71 black bird. I am appreciating your efforts to explain this verint of Jet engine, but you have to update some of it's significant information. Kindly Regards, Christine Cherian

    I have huge faith in this way of working. The biggest advantage you dont have to carry a gas cylinder and it can be used at the same time it gets produced. It is shocking why our engineers and auto companies not picking up on it.

    • @alecboucher5984
      @alecboucher5984 Год назад

      Hall-effect (HET)/electric propulsion (EP) in general has higher exhaust velocity which is what he is referring to. The thrust produced in EP depends mostly on mass flow rate and exhaust velocity (F = mass flow rate * exhaust velocity). The exhaust velocity with EP is usually above 10 km/s magnitude, but the mass flow rate of gas is usually in mg/s, g/s *10^-3. Chemical propulsion has a lower exhaust velocity at around 2-4 km/s, but has a higher mass flow rate. Not only that, but chemical engines also have pressure thrust, where (F = mass flow rate * exhaust velocity + (p_e-p_0)A_e) in turn, making their thrust numbers significantly higher, meaning that a vehicle of a given mass with chemical as opposed to EP will move much more quickly than EP. The one with EP will move much slower (at first), but will have better propellant "efficiency" or specific impulse (Isp) given by (Isp = exhaust velocity / gravitational constant at sea level). The higher the exhaust velocity, the higher the Isp and vice versa.

    The budget for ISRO is 0.06% of GDP of India while for NASA its around 1.1% the GDP of USA. Also, the GDP of US is around 7 times more than that of India which means NASA's budget is around 14 times that of ISRO. ISRO can do WONDERS if its budget is increased from a mere 0.06% to 1.5% - 2%. ISRO, DRDO, BARC and all such organisations are GEMS of India but more funding is required.
